Guilford man injured in Ripley County crash

Sunman, IN — Sunday, the Indiana State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash in northeast Ripley County that resulted in the driver being transported to a Cincinnati hospital with serious injuries.

The initial investigation by Troopers Vincent Scott and Chad Snyder indicated that at approximately 4:20 pm, a white 2002 Toyota Tacoma being driven by Randall K. Konradi, 60, Guilford, Indiana was traveling eastbound on State Road 46, approaching State Road 101. For an unknown reason, Konradi’s vehicle left the south side of the roadway. The vehicle went down an embankment before striking a tree and coming to rest.

Konradi was extricated from the vehicle by emergency personnel. He was treated at the scene before being transported to the University of Cincinnati Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
State Road 46 remained closed in the area for over an hour for crash investigation and cleanup. The crash remains under investigation at this time.

Troopers from the Indiana State Police-Versailles Post were assisted by the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department, Sunman Fire Department, Sunman EMS, and Batesville EMS.
