(Decatur County, IN) – Seventy-five people showed up on the Fourth of July to wave American flags over I-74 at the Moscow Road overpass.
The group known as the Overpass Patriots was formed by Robin Meyers several years ago, and gets together on patriotic holidays and important dates in American history to wave Old Glory for interstate motorists to see as an expression of American pride.
They plan to wave the Stars and Stripes again on the Moscow Road Bridge on September 11 at 6 pm to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
