The Class 4A Warren Central Warriors overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to finish off the Class 3A No. 4 Greensburg girls basketball team 60-56 on Tuesday night. The Pirates held a 39-29 lead, but during the second half, foul trouble, and a third-quarter injury to freshman Claire Larrison sparked the Warriors to the comeback win. Leah West led the way for the Pirates with 17 points. Aly Powers scored 13 points. Larrison scored 10 before leaving early in the third quarter. The Pirates (15-4, 5-0 EIAC) end their three-game homestand Saturday in a matinee against Batesville. A JV/Varsity doubleheader tips at noon.
