Greensburg senior Emarie Jackson has committed to continue her education and throwing career at the
University of Delaware. Jackson finished second in the shot put (top throw of 48 feet 0.5 inch) and third in the discus (top throw of 146 feet 10 inches) at the IHSAA Track & Field State Finals this past spring.
Back in June, she was crowned National Champion in the shot put at the New Balance Outdoor National Championships with a meet-record throw of 47 feet 9.25 inches.
