Greensburg sets Trick-or-Treat hours

Greensburg, IN — One of the first local communities has announced its stance on Trick-or-Treating this year. The Greensburg City Council voted 5-0 in favor of setting hours for Trick-or-Treating as 3 to 7 pm on Saturday, October 31. Mayor Josh Marsh suggested extending the traditional hours as Halloween falls on a weekend this year.

City officials do recommend that all those that participate in the activity, follow The Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidelines for staying safe during the pandemic. Both traditional trick-or-treating and trunk or treat are listed as high-risk activities that should be avoided. Click here to read the recommended guidelines from the CDC.
