Greensburg, In. — After months of debate Greensburg city council members have designated chickens as “farm animals.” The designation dashes any hopes of regulating the birds inside city limits, making them illegal.
Council members expressed concern about people following the ordinance and enforcement. More than two council members, including the mayor said they had heard opposition from their constituents.
