Greensburg Officer promoted to Captain

Greensburg, IN—On May 4, Lt. Jarrod McCalvin was Promoted to Captain of Administration with the Greensburg Police Department. Captian McCalvin has been with the Greensburg Police Department since 2002. During his tenure at the Greensburg Police Department, Captain McCalvin has held the positions of Sergeant, Lieutenant, a member of GPD Tactical Team, Field Training Officer, and a School Resource Officer.
 
Captain McCalvin is a graduate of Greensburg High School and attended Indiana State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree.

“Captian Jarrod McCalvin has dedicated 18 years to the City of Greensburg and the Greensburg Police Department,” said Police Chief Brendan Bridges. “He has demonstrated professionalism throughout his career and will be a great asset at this new position as Captain of Administration.”
