A Decatur County man was injured after an accident at the Highway 421 and State Road 3 bypass in Greensburg on Tuesday.
The Greensburg Daily News is reporting that Scott Milburn, 24, of Greensburg was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital for life-threatening injuries.
Police said Milburn was traveling east on State Road 3 and attempted to turn left onto County Road 250 West. He was struck by an oncoming tractor-trailer on the passenger side.
Witnesses said Milburn turn against a red light, the newspaper reported.
The impact caused heavy damage to Milburn’s Pontiac Grand Prix and resulted in severe head injuries. Emergency crews rushed him to a local hospital where he was later airlifted to Indianapolis.
Milburn was listed in critical condition on Tuesday, according to the newspaper.
