(Greensburg, IN) – Spring Heavy Trash Week in the City of Greensburg starts next Monday, May 15, and runs through Friday, May 19.
It’s only for Greensburg residents on a city trash route, and items placed on the curb will be picked up the same day as regular garbage collection.
Residents are reminded to put items out on the curb one to two days before pick up.
Small items must be bagged, and bags must weigh under 40 pounds.
There are certain items that are not permitted to be included with heavy trash.
Brush and yard waste will not be collected during Heavy Trash Week.
