Franklin County, IN — What started as a large grass fire Thursday night on the 18-thousand block of Pumphouse Road in Franklin County’s Butler Township led to a house fire when the flames spread to a nearby residence.
There were fears someone was trapped inside the house but that turned out not to be the case.
Firefighters from Brookville, Oldenburg, and Metamora responded.
There’s no word on injuries or a damage estimate from the house fire.
