(Indianapolis, IN) – Governor Mike Braun has directed that flags be flown at full-staff statewide on Monday, January 20 for the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.
Braun issued the order which follows one from U.S. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson that all flags at the Capitol in Washington, D.C. also fly at full-staff.
President Joe Biden ordered flags lowered to half-staff for 30 days in late December following the death of former President Jimmy Carter.
Governor Braun’s order will have flags across the state lowered to half-staff at sunrise on January 21 through the following Tuesday.
