Governor directs flags to be flown at half staff in memory of Texas shooting victims

(Statewide) – Governor Eric Holcomb is directing flags across the state to be flown at half-staff in honor and remembrance of the victims of the mass shooting at a mall in Allen, Texas.

Eight people died and several others were injured in the shooting on Saturday.

Flags should be flown at half-staff immediately until sunset on Thursday, May 11, according to the Governor’s directive.
