Gov. Directs Flags to Half-Staff

(Indianapolis, IN) – Governor Mike Braun is directing flags to be flown at half-staff across the state as a mark of respect for the memory of His Holiness Pope Francis.

The Holy Father passed away Monday at the age of 88, hours after delivering his annual Easter message at the Vatican.

Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset in the State of Indiana from now until sunset on the day of interment.

The governor is asking Indiana businesses and residents to lower their flags, as well.
