Gov. appoints Ketcham to workforce panel, reappoints Tebbe to BLRWD Board

Batesville Community Schools Superintendent Paul Ketcham.

(Indianapolis, IN) – Batesville Community Schools Superintendent Paul Ketcham has been appointed by Gov. Eric Holcomb to the Governor’s Workforce Cabinet (GWC).

Ketcham is one of three new appointees to the panel, along with Amish Shah, the CEO of Kem Krest in Bristol, and Jacqueline Barton, the founder and President of Specialized Staffing Solutions in South Bend.

The trio will be introduced at next GWC meeting on Thursday, December 14 at the Ivy Tech Community College Sellersburg campus.

Ketcham has 25 years of education experience and is serving in his eighth year as Batesville Schools superintendent. He previously served three years as superintendent of the Milan Community School Corporation.

He and his wife, Krista, have three children: Maddy, 25, Mitch, 22, and Mary Kate, 20.

Ketcham has several accolades including:
• 2020 District X IAPSS Superintendent of the Year;
• 2020 Batesville Chamber Educator of the Year; and
• Founding member of the Coalition of Continuous Improvement School Districts (CCISD).

Civic and professional roles include:
• Modern Youth Apprenticeship iLab – high school committee;
• Batesville Kiwanis President;
• Batesville Area Arts Council board member;
• Batesville Community Education Foundation board member;
• Batesville High School Key Club sponsor;
• Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents (IAPSS) legislative chair;
• Wilson Education Service Center board Chair; and
• Southeastern Career Center board member.

Meanwhile, Jeff Tebbe of Brookville has been reappointed to the Brookville Lake Regional Waste District Board (BLRWD).

Tebbe’s new term on the BLRWD runs until December 31, 2026.

He is an executive recruiter with Management Recruiters of Cincinnati.
