Metamora, IN— A local cat made headline tv news for being missing. Spooky is the door greeter at The Smelly Gourmet in Metamora which is owned by Brenda and Steve Collier
They say he will not let you in the door without acknowledging him. And many customers that come just to visit with Spooky because he’s described as big, fat and lovable. Spooky stays outdoors, though he does try to sneak in. Steve, aka Smelly built him a cat house (looks like the building) with a heater inside.
Camera footage showed that on Nov. 9 a woman with a black backpack and white boots walked away with the cat.
They don’t necessarily think the person stole the cat, as Spooky is known to take his collars off, the colliers understand that he could look like an extra friendly stray. Anyone with information on the woman who took Spooky is asked to call the Smelly Gourmet at 513.314.5693.
