Gordon Reynolds Jr., 71, of Milan died on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
Gordon was born in Knott County, Kentucky, on July 5, 1948, to Gordon William and Melda Johnson Reynolds. He married Lorena Good on September 23, 1993 in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Gordon had been employed as a construction worker and attended Little Memory Old Regular Baptist church. Gordon loved gardening, spending time with his family, and listening to Blue Grass Music.
In addition to his wife of twenty-five years, Gordon is survived by four children: Angela Bishop (Bob) of Sunman, Gordon Reynolds III of Morris, Mike Dee (Carina)of Aurora, and Susan Riehle (Chris) of Sunman; eight grandchildren: Ryan, Cristie, Brandi, Megan, Cameron, Alyssa, Hailey, Lacey; nine great-grandchildren; five sisters: Pauline Rohrig of Versailles, Ruth Hankins of Milan, Margaret Lochard of Milan, Katherine Minger (Maurice) of Milan, Sue (Rachael) Reynolds of Michigan; a brother, Ray Reynolds (Wanda) of Noblesville; two special aunts: Marie Johnson and Louise Rohrig; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Robert, Marion, and Haskell Reynolds; and two brothers-in-law: Jim Rohrig and Dale Lochard.
Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Nicholas Heritage Project Building Fund.
