(Decatur County, IN) – Decatur County Republican Party Chairman Nate Harter has called a caucus for Saturday, June 6 at 10 a.m. to fill a dozen ballot vacancies for the November General Election.
There is one open spot each for Washington Township Trustee, Fugit and Marion Township advisory boards, and St. Paul Town Council
There are two openings each on the Washington, Sandcreek, Clay, and Saltcreek township advisory boards.
The Washington Township Trustee, and advisory board posts in Washington and Sandcreek townships are filled by precinct chairs, while the other vacancies are filled by the party chairman.
Those who are interested in vying for these posts must be a resident of the respective districts for the past year and submit a CAN-31 form by 9:59 a.m. on June 3 to the Decatur County Clerk at the courthouse; 506 Washington Street; Greensburg, IN 47240, or nharter10@gmail.com.
The caucus will be held at Decatur County Republican Headquarters at 109 S. Broadway Street in Greensburg.
