The 8th Grade Lady Bulldogs had a tough loss against Jac-Cen-Del last night, 45-11. After a long week, with four games, it was tough for the girls to get into a rhythm on the court. Perseverance and defensive determination turned it around for the Chargers in the second half. Leading the Lady Chargers in scoring was Ally Whitaker with 9, followed by Madi Allen and Kasey Barker each with 6. Kelsey Haley added 3, while Emma Schoettmer and Clare Kinker chipped in 2 each. The St. Louis 7th Grade lost to Greensburg 58-11.  Scoring for St. Louis were Ainsley Sipples with 4 pts, Lucy Abplanalp with 3 pts, and both Anna Moore and Kenzie Maple with 2 pts each.  While this was a tough game, we started to see something happening on both offense and defense.  These girls hustled the whole game and never once gave up on themselves.

The 8th grade lost to Greensburg in a barn burner 32-28.  Scoring for St. Louis was Kate Weber with 10 pts 1 assist, Catherine Streator with 6 pts 2 blocks, Rhea Miller with 5 pts one being a 3 that was vital, Clarie Saner with 4 pts, Lilly Schebler with 2 pts, and Sadie Wachsmann with 1 pt.  All the girls pulled out an effective press but just a bit too late in the game for the win.  So proud of their grit as foul trouble took over the first half and coming back from that is always a tough thing to do.  They absolutely never gave up if anything pushed harder for this win.  Nice job ladies.
