George Albert Ertzinger of Sunman, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Manderly Health Care Center in Osgood, Indiana. Born on April 10, 1930 at his home place to George and Alma Mae (Runner) Ertzinger.
George retired from Nobbe Motors in Batesville where he worked in the parts department. He was a proud United States Air Force veteran who served during Korea. George belonged to the Aurora Indiana Korean Vets, the Sunman American Legion Post 337, Batesville VFW Post #3183, Prell-Bland American Legion Post #271 and the Batesville Eagles Aerie #1130.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lawrence Ertzinger, Edna Mae Taylor and Irene Ertzinger along with his twin brother, Edward Ertzinger.
Visitation will be Monday, December 18, 2023 from 10-11am followed by 11am funeral services all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Pastor Mark Booster officiating. Burial to follow at Adams Lutheran Church Cemetery with Military honors by the Sunman American Legion Post 337.
