Geneva Mae Turner

Geneva Mae Turner, 94, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

She was born February 7, 1927, in Booneville, KY, daughter of the late Arch Turner and Reba (Williams) Turner.

Geneva worked as a Secretary in Engineering for General Electric, and she absolutely loved her job.

She was a 1944 Brookville High School Graduate and then went to I. U. She enjoyed baking and was an excellent seamstress who made many of her own clothes. Geneva was also an avid reader. She loved spending time her family.

Geneva is survived by her siblings, Daniel Turner of Tequesta, FL, Herbert Turner of Greendale, IN, Anna Workman of Aurora, IN, Eddie (Pat) Turner of Aurora, IN; nine nieces and nephews, Kenneth (Deborah) Turner, Leslie (Theresa) Turner, Allan (Dawn) Turner, Linda (Eric) Hollowell, Terry Workman, Brian Workman, Tamara (Bill) Dixon, Mark (Heather) Turner, and Jonathan (Leigh) Turner.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arch and Reba; brother, Maxwell Turner; nephew, Curtis Turner.

Friends will be received Monday, December 27, 2021, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bill Secrest officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
