Greensburg, IN — Parents and guardians in the Greensburg Community School Corporation (GCSC) received an automated message this afternoon informing them that a student has been confirmed as COVID-19 positive. The message continued by stating that individuals identified as a close contact of the positive case have already been notified.
However, the message did not inform parents if the student attended the Greensburg Elementary, Jr. High, or High School. This led to concern and more questions across social media. The Greensburg High School has stated that this has not affected the football team and the game for this evening in Lawrenceburg is still scheduled.
