BATESVILLE, IN — The Batesville Gas Utility will conduct a gas leak survey on the gas system in the downtown area and north of I-74, including the Town of Oldenburg, starting Monday.
Two men will walk and use a utility cart while checking for underground gas leaks in the streets, rights-of-way, and on a customer’s property up to the gas meters located outside the home.
The survey is expected to take three to four days to complete and is conducted annually as part of the gas utility’s maintenance plan.
