Garry Neil Freeman, age 75 of Harrison, Ohio passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 in Harrison, Ohio. Born July 30, 1943 in Harlan County, Kentucky the son of Clarence and Cora (Howard) Freeman.
Garry graduated from Norwood High School, served his country in the United States Navy. Married Betty Thomas July 6, 1976 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Garry retired form General Electric as a Tool Maker and was a member of Norwood Masonic Lodge #576.
Garry is survived by his wife Betty Freeman. Father of Paul (Laura) Freeman, Garry “Bug” (Becky) Freeman Jr., John “Tommy” (Amanda) Freeman, Shawn (Meagan) Marksberry, Tammy (Allen) Barton, Anita (John) McKinney, Tina (Kevin Brown) Palmer and Sherry (Bob Rose) Evangelo. Grandfather of 23 and Great grandfather of 36. Brother of Clarence “Howard” (Carolyn) Freeman and Lois Collins.
Garry is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Cora Freeman, daughter Beverly Dunaway, grandsons Jason McKinney, Allen Barton and brother Marvin “Bud” Freeman.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with masonic services at 7:45 P.M. all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial will be Friday, July 12, 2019 10:30 A.M. at Glen Haven Cemetery with military honors conducted by US Navy and Harrison Honor Guard.
