Ripley County, In. — The Friendship Volunteer Fire Department extinguished a combine fir Sunday night in the 9500 block of State Road 129.
Firefighters responded around 7:30 and used about 300 gallons of water to douse a smoldering fire believed to be caused by a bearing failure.
Minor damage and no injuries were reported.
