(Metamora, IN) – Fundraisers have been launched to help a pair of Metamora businesses impacted by last week’s flooding.
Connie’s Cabin was damaged, along with the owner’s home and cottage.
A GoFundMe was created to help cover flood-related expenses, remediation and restoration of the three properties.

Excess proceeds will go to help other Metamora residents affected by the flooding.
The goal of the fundraiser is $50,000.
Moon Lit Pages bookstore in Metamora also sustained extensive flood damage.
Flooring, bookshelves and inventory were destroyed shortly after the space had been remodeled.
A GoFundMe with a $7,000 goal will help cover cleanup and mold treatment, replace damaged flooring, shelves and books, and repair the store for reopening.
