(Batesville, IN) – A fundraiser for Albert Meyer, a member of the local community battling cancer, will take place January 6 at Back Roads Bar and Grill in Batesville.
Meyer was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Now, the cancer has returned and spread. The cancer has progressed to Stage 4, and he can’t work at this time.
He is currently undergoing multiple treatments, and this fundraiser will assist with medical and travel expenses to various hospitals.
The fundraiser for Albert will be on Saturday, January 6th at Back Roads Bar and Grill from 2 – 6 PM.
The fundraiser will include live music, featuring Brooks Werner, and a nacho buffet and desserts for a free-will offering. Additionally, there will be a 50/50 raffle.
Community members may know Meyer from his 30 years at Bedel’s Marathon, school or his large, extended family.
