Frye calls 2022 legislative session “productive”

State Representative Randy Frye (R-Greensburg)

SOUTHEASTERN IN — State Representative Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) is weighing in on the 2022 Indiana General Assembly session, which concluded last week.

Frye said it was a productive session, overall.

“We cut taxes and returned money to the taxpayer,” Frye said. “We’re going to help keep our jails population down, and hopefully prevent jails from having to be replaced and at the same time provide mental health treatment for those who need it.

“We able to pass our priority bills,” he added. “We were able to keep the state fiscally sound and at the same time get done early. I think that’s important to literally save taxpayer dollars every day we’re not there.”

Frye was a guest on Monday’s edition of The Daily Pod on WRBI.
