RIPLEY COUNTY, Ind. — The area saw rain and snow on Thursday, that quickly froze Thursday evening, and created difficult driving conditions Friday morning.
Indiana State Police responded to multiple accidents throughout the area this morning.
Numerous crashes now reported on SR 1 between Greendale and St. Leon. Avoid that stretch of road.. Trooper nearly struck near Dover.

Reports of slick roads this morning across the area. Worst areas so far seem to be along I-74 and US421 in Decatur County.
