This is not for residential trash disposal.
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. — Franklin County Residents will be able to dispose of roadside trash free of charge this weekend.
The Franklin County Commissioners are offering the free disposal at the county’s Transfer Station April 20-22 in celebration of Earth day on Saturday.
Up to four car tires found alongside the roadway may be recycled for free.
There are some restrictions including no commercial or contract haulers, no construction debris, and no hazardous waste.
Trash bags will be provided in advance for anyone doing a roadside trash collection and may be picked up at the transfer station.
