Franklin County United Way gives $4K in scholarships

BROOKVILLE, Ind. –The United Way of Franklin County has announced two recipients of the 2021 Live United Scholarship.  The two recipients were awarded a total of $4,000 for tuition costs and fees.

Ashley Meyers, recent 2021 FCHS graduate, is the daughter of Shannon and David Meyers. She will be attending Stanford University and studying International Relations.

Ava Ralston, recent 2021 BHS graduate, is the daughter of Joe and Jean Ralston. She will be attending the Purdue University this fall. She will be studying Food Science.

The Live United scholarship is designed to recognize individuals that have demonstrated a commitment to serving Franklin County by making a positive impact in our community through community service. Current high school seniors or GED graduates, along with current post-secondary students of any age are eligible. The student must be a resident of Franklin County
