FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. — 1 person was arrested on multiple drug related charges in Franklin County.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, on November 11, just after mid-night, deputies stopped a vehicle driven by Joseph Stout, 60, of Brookville, for a traffic violation at 642 Franklin Avenue in Brookville.
A K9 unit from the Brookville Police Department was dispatched to the scene, and the K9 officer gave a positive alert for illegal narcotics.
During a search of the car, drug paraphernalia and crack cocaine were found.
Stout was arrested on charges of Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of Cocaine.
Stout faces up to 2 and a half years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
