Frances Senefeld – Brookville

 

Frances Senefeld, of Brookville, was born on April 5, 1929 in Batesville, a daughter to Jerry and Phyllis Vaske Schreiber. She was part of the 1946 class at Brookville High School.  Frances married Robert Senefeld and together they raised five children.  Frances worked many years at Philco Ford and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church for all of her 91 years.  She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.  Frances also enjoyed playing scrabble and her flower garden.  On Friday, June 5, 2020 at the age of 91, she passed away unexpectedly at Brookville Healthcare.

Those surviving who will cherish Frances’ memory include her children; Linda Buchta of Brookville, John Senefeld of Laurel, Jody (Don) Webb of Brookville, and Phyllis (Rod) Richardson of Glenwood; step-daughter, Rhonda (Tom) Novak of St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Shannon (Danny) Senefeld Stewart, Donnie Webb, Jimmy (Rachel) Webb, Michael (Shelly) Waskewich, Phillip (Mary) Waskewich, Julie Shank, Erin (Aitor) Porro, David (Casey) Buchta, Trey (Sandra) Richardson, Jill (Brian) Harrison, Casey (Michael) Oglesby, and Jason (Daniele) Vernetti and Katja (Marc) Anderson; great-grandchildren, Alana, Aiden, Declan, Dylan, Bella, Marley, Jaxson, Kirsten, Sierra, Jazmine, Rylan, Mason, Gavin, Lilly, Hayden, Noah, Miles, Amelia, Brynn, Lorea and Alai, Isaiah, Nico, Levi, and Isabella; sister, Jeroma Brown and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents and husbands, Robert Senefeld and Robert Peters, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Angela Cly, and Joan Zins, one brother, Bill Schreiber; son, Michael Senefeld; two sons-in-law, Michael Waskewich and Frederick Buchta; brother-in-law, Keith Brown and a granddaughter, Crystal Senefeld.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol.  If you are not feeling well, or if you have a compromised immune system, you are encouraged to stay home.  IN ADDITION – the family has requested that all individuals visiting please wear a face mask – these will not be provided at the funeral home.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville.  Fr. Vincent Lampert will officiate a Mass of Christian burial at 12:30 p.m. at St. Michael Church and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
