Fox, Mildred

Mildred Fox, 97, of Yorkville passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019. She loved to sew and crochet and made many beautiful pillowcases. You would never catch Mildred without a book in her hand and was reading up until the last week of her life. She loved Danielle Steele books in particular.
Mildred leaves her beloved daughter Darlene (Dannie) Callaway of Bright, her grandchild Casey (Jamie) Callaway and her great grandchildren Cash Callaway, Conner Mays, Josh Mays, and Julia Mays, her brother Bob Gindling and sister Marion Gutzwiller. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband George H. Fox and her brothers Lawrence Gindling and Jim Gindling.
Mildred was a member of the Ladies Sodality at St. Martin’s Campus All Saints Parish and a member of the New Alsace senior citizen’s group.
Visitation will be Monday, February March 4 from 10:00am -12:00pm at St. Martin’s Church in Yorkville beginning with Rosary at 9:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 12:00.
Memorials can be made to Miller-York Fire Department, St. Martin’s Cemetery and Masses. Andres-Wuestefeld Funeral home is honored to care for Mildred and her family during this time.
