(New Point, IN) – The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office is reminding motorists that the four-way stop is now in effect at the intersection of State Road 46 and County Road 850 East in New Point.
Deputies are urging you to drive with caution in the area as you get used to the all-way stop.
INDOT installed the four-way stop this week, and lowered the speed limit from 55 to 45 mph from County Road 700 East to County Road 200 South.
The agency says the lower speed limit is intended to improve safety along 46 in New Point.
