The Greensburg Police Department and the Westport Police Department launched an investigation in July after learning about the alleged dealing of prescription drugs at a residence in Decatur County.
Arrest warrants were issued from the Decatur County Superior Court on Friday for two individuals that police believe were taking part in the criminal activity.
“In the early morning hours of October 21, 2013 an arrest team compromised of Greensburg Police Department Detectives and Westport Police Department Police Officer’s surrounded the residence of Danny Toler located on S. Poplar in Westport,” said Greensburg Police Chief Stacey Chasteen.
Police apprehended Toler, 60, and Joshua Jones, 26, both of Westport.
Toler is facing charges including; Dealing in a narcotic drug (class B felony), Obtaining a legend drug by fraud (class D felony), Welfare Fraud (class A misdemeanor), Marijuana Possession (class A misdemeanor), and Theft (class B felony).
Jones was booked into the Decatur County Jail under suspicion of Attempted Dealing in a Narcotic Drug (class B felony).
Both are currently held at the jail without bond.
