Milan, IN — A former law enforcement officer known throughout Ripley County has died.
Longtime Milan Town Marshal Dennis Rea “Denny” Ryker passed away Monday at St. Elizabeth Edgewood in Northern Kentucky.
In addition to his police work, Ryker was a member of Rescue 30 and worked various jobs outside of law enforcement, including as a tour bus driver for the Boys From Indiana bluegrass band.
Denny Ryker was 71.
He’ll be laid to rest Friday.
