Former Bulldog Baseball Standout Zach Britton Selected In 5th Round By Blue Jays

Former Batesville Bulldog and University of Louisville Cardinal Baseball junior standout outfielder Zach Britton was selected 136th during the 5th Round of The Major League Baseball Draft by The Toronto Blue Jays.

Britton started all 17 games for the Cardinals before the cancelation of this season. He was leading all Division I hitters with 11 doubles in the brief year after hitting five homers in 28 games in the Cape Cod League last summer.
