Floyd Clay Robertson, age 86, of Brookville, Indiana passed away peacefully at his home early May 24, 2026, following a brief illness.
Born May 9, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio he was the youngest of three sons born to the late Henry Clay & Elizabeth (Tankersly) Robertson. On November 14, 1987 he and the former Marilyn R. Faber were united in marriage and she survives.
Floyd was employed for over 37 years as a Design Draftsman at Dresser-Roots in Connersville, before becoming a truck driver for over 20 years until his retirement.
In his leisure time he enjoyed taking care of his property, his faithful canine companions, antiques, as well as attending auctions.
He was a member of the Buena Baptist Church.
In addition to Marilyn, his beloved wife of more than 38 years, he is survived by two sons, Rick Robertson of Versailles, Indiana, and Rodger Robertson of Brookville, Indiana; two stepsons, Scott Hall of Everton, Indiana, and Craig Hall of Brookville, Indiana; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren, with one more expected.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Perry ‘Hoss’ Robertson and Shelby Robertson.
Family & friends may visit from 4 until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Rev. Rob Edwards will officiate the Funeral Service on Friday, May 29, 2026, 11:00 A.M. at Buena Southern Missionary Baptist Church, 25220 Chapel Road, Laurel, Indiana. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
