(Southeastern IN) – A Flood Watch will be in effect this afternoon and through 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Several rounds of showers and storms are expected through tomorrow evening, and the National Weather Service says each round of storms will have the potential to produce heavy rain which could create excessive runoff.
Total rainfall through the period will likely be 2 to 4 inches, with locally higher amounts possible.
Forecasters say people in the watch area, especially those living in areas prone to flooding, should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
You’re urged to monitor the latest forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings.
