The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Ripley County and Northwestern Dearborn County until Sunday, February 25, at 4:15 AM.
At 939 PM EST, radar indicated that heavy rain had fallen across the warned area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen. Heavy rain continues to fall with another one inch possible. Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause flash flooding to occur.
Some locations that will experience flooding include Batesville, Bright, Versailles, Milan, Osgood, Dillsboro, Moores Hill, Logan, Manchester, Sunman, St. Leon, Holton, Napoleon, Millhousen, Rexville, Cold Springs, Penntown, Interstate 74 at US Route 52, Friendship and Versailles Lake.
