(Ripley County, IN) – A house in the Delaware area of Ripley County was heavily damaged by fire last evening.
The initial call came in to Ripley County Communications around 5 p.m. for a house fire in the area of East Prattsburg Road and State Road 129.
Several fire departments responded, and when they arrived on the scene, found the house engulfed in flames.
One firefighter was evaluated for heat exhaustion.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
