(Bright, IN) – No one was injured in a barn fire in Bright Tuesday morning.
Crews arriving just after 7:30 a.m. on the 24,000 block of Mayfield Lane found the barn fully engulfed.
Firefighters from Bright, St. Leon, Harrison, Miller-York, Greendale, Lawrenceburg, Aurora and Whitewater Township battled not only the flames but nine-degree temperatures and freezing fire hose lines, and were on the scene for four and a half hours.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The barn is listed as a total loss.
