ST. LEON, IN — The St. Leon Fire Department was called to 27153 Dog Ridge Road just before 6:20 pm Saturday and crews found a home fully engulfed in flames.
It was determined that the home was abandoned and that the owner lives out of state.
The home is listed as a total loss.
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
St. Leon firefighters were assisted at the scene by the Sunman Rural Fire Department, Sunman EMS, and the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office.
