Versailles, IN — Versailles Fire Rescue recently held its annual awards banquet and hardware was handed out.
Jake Hebert was named Firefighter of the Year; the Chief’s Award went to Josh Walston; Rick Dillion is the Officer of the Year; Cassi Hornsby was selected Top Responder of the Year, and Tanner Franklin received the Top Training Hours of the Year award.
Recognized for milestone years of service were Derek Wood (10 years), Lance Prather and Rick Dillion (5 years each), and Jayden Hunger, Tony Franklin, and Tanner Franklin (all 1 year)
Also honored were the Top 10 responders of the year. They are Cassis Hornsby, Josh Walson, Jayden Hunger, Bryan Buchanan, Nathan Pelfrey, Rick Dillion, Jake Hebert, Randy Hornsby, Tony Franklin, and Tanner Franklin.
