(Greensburg, IN) – The first of this year’s City of Greensburg Public Safety Community Cookouts takes place tomorrow (Thursday) evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Westridge Addition, on the grassy area along North Wedgewood Avenue between Tarkington Drive and Rebecca Parkway.

The event is free and will feature food, music, emergency vehicle displays, games and more.

The Public Safety Community Cookout series was launched in 2021, and runs through the summer months in neighborhoods across the Tree City.

Officials say it’s a great way to meet first responders, check out emergency vehicles, receive valuable safety information and build stronger community ties.

The cookouts are hosted by the City of Greensburg and its police and fire departments.
