First Financial Bank and associates donate more than $690,000

Cininnati, Oh. — First Financial Bank has collected $693,610 through their United Way Annual Giving Campaign for 2018. Archie Brown, Jr., President and CEO, and John Gavigan, Chief Administrative Officer for First Financial led the effort and are very excited about the timely contribution from First Financial Bank and its associates.

The United Way Campaign provides the opportunity for employees throughout the entire company to donate and show support in their local areas. The donations received will be distributed to numerous non-profit organizations throughout the entire First Financial Bank geographic footprint. Employees are given the opportunity for their donations to be sent to organizations within the communities they live or choose to donate to.

This year, the total associate and company contribution was $693,610. Of that, associates pledged $443,610 with a company contribution of $250,000. Within the company’s contribution, $100,000 will go towards United Way of Greater Cincinnati (UWGC) Poverty Initiative, $75,000 was the First Financial associate match and $75,000 will go towards the Decatur County United Fund, where MainSource Bank was previously headquartered.
