(Bright, IN) – A firework that landed in and around an attic caused a house fire in Bright early Sunday morning.
Bright Fire and EMS says the blaze was reported around 1:30 a.m. at a home on Brightland Court.
Upon arrival, crews found an active fire in the attic and along the roofline.
Their quick response prevented flames from spreading throughout the entire attic.
Investigators say a firework that was discharged earlier landed in the attic area.
There were no injuries reported.
All responding firefighters, including those from the Lawrenceburg and Harrison, Ohio, fire departments, were released from the scene around 4 a.m.
