LETTS, IN — A dog was rescued over the weekend after it fell through the ice on a pond at 684 West County Road 400 south in southern Decatur County in the Letts area.
The Greensburg Fire Department responded with its ice rescue crew and was able to save the dog.
The Letts Community Volunteer Fire Department is reminding residents to be careful whenever ice forms on bodies of water such as ponds.
