UPDATE: No injuries reported in Napoleon grain bin fire

NAPOLEON, IN — Napoleon firefighters were called just before 6:00 Friday morning to a grain bin fire at a farm on County Road 250 West.

The grain dryer unit was fully engulfed when crews arrived on the scene, and the flames were beginning to burn the shelter structure around the dryer.

The fire was quickly put out but firefighters spent a long time clearing burning grain from the inside of the dryer.

There were no injuries and damage was contained to the dryer unit.

Batesville Fire & Rescue provided mutual aid.

The Napoleon Fire Department received assistance from Batesville firefighters at a fire Friday morning in a grain dryer on County Road 250 West.

Firefighters were on the scene around 7 am.
