(Rushville, IN) – The Corner Restaurant at Third and Main in downtown Rushville was heavily damaged by a massive fire Tuesday evening.
The blaze began in the kitchen around 5 p.m., and the restaurant was fully engulfed before the fire spread to two other businesses.
No one was in the restaurant at the time, and there were no injuries reported.
The Greensburg Fire Department was on the scene with its ladder truck (pictured), and crews from Franklin County also responded, along with firefighters from Shelby and Henry counties.
Crews stayed on the scene overnight to monitor hot spots.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
